Britney is a business owner, competitive body builder and an overall fitness junkie who wants to help people reach their fitness goals by keeping them motivated to work hard to reach their full potential. 

She fell in love with body building when she competed in her first competition in August last year at the IFBB Central Gauteng Championships, in the Fitness bikini under 1.66 division. Britney recently competed at Millennium Gold Plate 2018 where she was placed third and qualified for Arnold’s Classic 2018. Britney gyms twice a day, seven days a week, training extensively with the guiding hand of her coach Dylan Dawson.

What does fitness mean to you?
Living a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Why should someone attend FIBO Africa in October?
I attended the FIBO show in Germany last year, which was a huge eye opener to what is actually out there in the health and fitness industry. FIBO is a great brand and the show in Africa will be showcasing the latest and best in the fitness industry.

What are your top two fitness tips?
1. For woman - don’t be afraid of lifting heavy weights, it will not won’t turn into a bodybuilder.
2. Trust the process, results don’t come over night your diet this month is your body next month.

How did your fitness journey start?
I went to go watch my brother compete in Rossi Classic 2015,  Watching all the athletes inspired me to start my fitness journey.

What is your advice to someone wanting to start their fitness journey?
Your health and body is the most important thing. What you do to your body now will thank you later on in the future. Being healthy and fit is key. Don’t take your health for granted.
